It's a Monday

Mondays are the worst, I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who agree. Just had to get that out there.

Anyways, rehearsals for Peter Pan have started! It's directed by the Playmakers group in the Utah Shakespearian festival, for ages 7-17. I've only auditioned and been in one before, which was A Christmas Carol just this past December.

It was loads of fun! I got a bit emotional at the last show, knowing it was going to be over.
I knew I had to audition for the next one, and through auditions and callbacks, (which were pretty scary) I made it in with an ensemble role as a pirate!
Can't wait.
Being in A Christmas Carol will count for Indiviual Worth #5, and Peter Pan will be my ten hour value project for Indiviual Worth, once I finish up on #3.
Speaking of #3, I intend to carry that out by leaving nice little notes in my friends lockers or backpacks, hopefully they'll appreciate it.
Tell your friends about my blog, okay? Here's a shout-out to you Hannah :)
Happy Monday!

Blog Kick-Off!

Hello there!
A bit about me...
My name is Mary, and I'm half persian.
I'm a freshman in High School living in Utah, in the United States of America
Some things I like to do include drawing, cooking, and (though I don't often get around to it) crafting.
The reason I am creating this blog is for My Personal Progress! It's a program that the Young Woman in my church do. I'll be honest in saying up to this point, I haven't been very enthusiastic or consistent with it... but that's going to change from here on out! I intend to follow through with it until it's all done, and express it with this blog.  If you haven't done Personal Progress, I'll have you know that it isn't done within a week, it takes a long while. The point of the whole thing is to help you recognize your talent using the seven Young Women Values, and help you become a better person in general, and it's tons of fun.
And to kick off the fun, I'm starting the blog with the Indivual Worth, Value Experience 3.
.3 Read Doctrine and Covenants 18:10 and 121:45. Do all you can to build others and make them feel of worth. Every Day for two weeks notice the worthwhile qualities and attributes of other. Acknowledge them verbally or in writing. In your journal write what you have learned about the worth of individuals and how your own confidence grows when you build others.
I've already read through those scriptures, telling about the worth of souls, and tomorrow at school I intend to start it!
